Arrange to meet with one of our helpful Employment Counsellors to find out how you can access these and other services:

Career Counselling

Meet one-to-one with an Employment Counsellor to discuss any of your employment needs.  Find out what options may be available top you in any of four key Career Dimensions:

  • Career Decision Making

  • Skills Development

  • Job Search Preparation

  • Employment Maintenance

Employer Wage Subsidy

Financial Incentives?  Employers and/or employees come and meet with our Community Coordinator to find out about financial incentives for employers to provide on-the-job training for new employees.

Skills Development Benefit Program

Interested in gaining new skills but don't have the resources to get you there?  SDEB could be your way to a new career.  This program provides financial support to help you go back to school.

Job Creation Partnerships

Short term job creation training projects to help you gain new skills while at work.

Columbia Basin Trust Training Support Program

Another tuition support option for Columbia Basin residents.  This one-time bursary could help you towards course tuition.

Apprenticeship Information and Incentive Grants

Looking to work in the Trades?  We have information and resources to help you and your employer get the most out of an apprenticeship.

Youth Programs

If you are aged 15 to 30, we have information to help you get the most out of your future.  We have everything from information about schools to the National Job Bank.

Outreach Employment has been providing employment related services for over 30 years.  Our Resource Centre offers assistance with:

  • High speed Internet, phone, fax, and copier for employment-related needs

  • Resume and cover letter help

  • Career Counselling

  • Local and National job postings

  • Referrals to training and education

  • Employment Insurance applications

  • Labour Market Information

  • Government and subsidy information

  • Career information for students, unemployed persons, and those seeking new skills

We also provide employers with access to government job strategy programs and "client referral" contact lists.

All of our support services are provided free of charge, and handled with the utmost confidentiality.
