Email: Can’t see attachments

May 29, 2007 on 1:00 pm | In Software | No Comments

Q: I was sent an email but cannot view attachments. A co-worker is able to see them on her computer.

A: This problem is usually caused by the lack a specific plugin on your computer that is required to view the attachment. The solution is to either have the sender deliver the attachment in another format or try to find the appropriate plugin so that you may view the original email.

Note: The best way to send documents for others to view is PDF. You can download the Adobe PDF Reader here.

Error messages

Q: I noticed an error message pops up on my computer saying that
my software has almost expired. What should I do?

A: This error message is automated to let you know that you need to renew a subscription to your application software or risk not being able to use the software. In this case, it is fixable by renewing the subscription across the entire network as a whole, Which is best left to your IT dept.

Note: When installing software, always make sure to save your installation discs as well as your authorization keys.
